Big platforms ban harmless things for the wrong reasons. SurfSideSafe uses simple common sense: If something helps people, doesn’t hurt anyone, and is legal and ethical, why in the world would we block it? It makes no sense to do this. And yes! We DO allow affiliate links, and we always will!

There’s something I’ve never understood about the big social platforms.

They ban things that don’t hurt anyone.

They block helpful links.

They limit good ideas.

They punish normal behavior.

And they act like people can’t be trusted to make simple choices.

To me, that makes no sense.

If something is legal, ethical, helpful, and harmless...

Why in the world should it be banned?

On SurfSideSafe, we believe in common sense.

If a link helps you earn money, you can post it.

If a tool helps you grow, you can use it.

If a feature makes your life easier, we support it.

If you want to share something that helps others, we welcome it.

This isn’t chaos.

It’s respect.

I’m not here to treat adults like children.
